Stewardship & Mentorship: Passing Down the Spirit of the Game

The future of the golf depends on how we mentor the next generation of players and professionals.

  • Mentoring Staff: My time at The Olympic Club was "graduate school" for teaching, and I apply those high standards to mentoring our assistant professionals, helping them grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

  • Guiding Families: Navigating the complex college recruiting landscape is a significant burden for families; I host College Recruiting Nights to provide clarity and ensure our junior players have a clear path to the next level.

  • The Spirit of the Game: We design junior programs that emphasize the "Spirit of the Game" over mere mechanics. Drawing from my own father’s example, I help parents understand that their role is to provide a foundation of support, allowing the child to develop their own authentic love for the game.
